Under the covers…
When one of my favorite authors, the incomparable Elizabeth Essex, introduced the idea of an anthology of Regency Christmas capers using the names of Santa’s reindeer, my hand shot up! “I dibs Vixen!” It’s been an honor to work with Elizabeth, as well as the amazing Eva Devon and the super-talented Heather Snow.
A Liar Under The Mistletoe – I had long been thinking about continuing the story of one of my favorite secondary characters from the Royal Four series. Lord Elliot Hughes is eager to serve the Crown, intelligent and sarcastic. I love how he carries his own “younger son of a younger son” uselessness into an asset for the Liar’s Club ring of spies. As for Amie Jackham, I’ve been wanting to expand on the story of the Liar’s Club traitor, Jackham, because I never really believed his story about selling out his comrades for money. I knew he had a better reason hidden somewhere in his past! So he did, three beautiful daughters, all trained in the family business–jewel theft!
